-Sangiovese Superiore Romangna is a red wine produced in the vineyards of the hills and plains of Romagna, Italy. Made primarily from Sangiovese grapes with the addition of other red varieties, the wine grows on medium-rich, clayey soils at altitudes between 0 and 200 meters.
With an intense ruby red color with purple highlights, it offers lively fruity notes of dark cherries and plums on the nose. The same fruity intensity is found on the palate, harmonized with slightly more savory nuances, supported by good acidity and silky tannins, with a balanced body and a lingering mineral finish.
It pairs beautifully with tomato-based dishes like pasta and pizza, as well as red meats, game, and cured meats. It’s especially ideal for a toast in company.
